I've always loved wide open spaces. Mountain ranges, great lakes, deserts, beaches. Even on short train journeys, my eyes are fixed on the horizon rather than a laptop or a newsaper. Wide open spaces are the best antidote to digital overload. Head to the hills, the national parks, observe nature and the changing seasons close up. Camp, walk, photograph, and just breath deeply.
